<p>Is it okay that I'm slightly insulted by that? I checked both application verification emails and they confirmed I had put myself down as a female. Is this usual for a college?</p>
<p>Don’t be insulted. It was probably a mere typo by someone updating your record on the system. I work at a college in NY and see this a lot. Believe me after inputing and checking applications all day long for months, you go a little cross eyed and errors happen. Our college recently stopped using Mr. or Ms. to cut down on errors.</p>
