i just wanna know already :(( wish we found out today so I’d maybe not have to go to my ACTs tomorrow haha

@ayeshashax oh man, that’s the worst. maybe you still will find out today? where roughly do you live and has the mail come yet?

@lunascreatures NJ and yeah it’s come…nothing from georgetown

@ayeshashax yeah okay that sucks! good luck on your ACT though :)

well, if no one in DC had it arrive today, i don’t see how it could arrive anywhere else by tomorrow…so it could well be that the letters didn’t go out until late thursday…bummer…i was hoping to get rejected by them on Saturday so I could have a few days rest before uChicago rejects me next Wednesday…

I really am interested in Georgetown SFS as my parents are with the UN. Alas, living in Europe everyone thinks Georgetown SFS is ultra conservative and my school is very down on it. Is it that bad? My classmates say it is dominated by security-types.

International applicants get their decisions by email on 15 December. I called and they said that for international students, the acceptance rate is about 25%. This according to Georgetown admissions.

@GreyGarvin Georgetown doesn’t reject early so even the worst won’t be that bad! I’m also applying to uchicago, and that one’s just a struggle as far as the date goes. I don’t know which is worse!

Still nothing from DC?

As much as I love letters, I wish they just emailed their decision :/. I won’t be getting any sleep until Monday afternoon.

I live in Maryland abour 20 minutes away from Georgetown and I didn’t get the letter today.

Maybe DCs mail is just having internal problems and the rest of us will get our letters tomorrow [-O<

Damn now I can’t focus on anything this weekend!

I think they probably posted it late enough last night (based on the tweet time) that DCish will get it tomorrow and the rest monday. Extra holiday mail people might make it come fast though! Honestly, I’m trying to keep it in context and not get too freaked out. Are you guys waiting for any other decisions?

I only applied to Georgetown early T_T now kinda regret that decision…should have applied to more schools early

i’m from philadelphia, do you still think i could get my letter tomorrow or is the dc mail schedule throwing us all off??

It’s possible that the mail reached the dc local areas post office after the truck already left the facility…if that’s the case then it’s possible for most east coasters to get them tomorrow

/\ I hope so!

Wouldn’t it have been kind of weird for admissions to put the letters out after the mail had already come on Thursday? Seems kind of pointless and I doubt they’d expect a letter to make it cross country in two mail days… at least I hope

Let’s hope decisions come tomorrow for the east coast! I don’t know how much longer I can wait!
