Congrats to those that have gotten into Georgetown University!

I have my interview for Georgetown Regular Decision tomorrow, is there anyone that can give me any pointers on what to study up about Georgetown? Should I be expecting any trick questions, or is it like the ordinary nterviews where I babble on about my personal life and extracurricular activities?

My interview was pretty standard too. We met at Starbucks, it was about an hour long. Just the usual “tell me about yourself” kind of questions and why you want to go to Georgetown. I wore a sweater and nice jeans and so did my interviewer. Don’t stress about it!

I think us intls have to wait till the 15th to get the results :(

My interview lasted for about an hour and the interviewer was really nice so dont stress about it
Although i do think that prob you should wear something that’s semi-formal esp if you are a girl cuz a good first impression is important.

Congrats Webster! which school did you apply to? Also, just wondering, what does the acceptance letter say? o.o

My interview was pretty relaxing and generic. I found out that most of the questions my interviewer asked were the ones I found on google. Some questions I remember:
-Tell me about yourself, parents, etc.
-what do you dislike about gtown
-why gtown
-what do you see yourself doing 10 years from now
-some ECs i did
-school’s system/level of difficulty or something like that. i explained how we couldn’t really take APs until junior year.
-how your teachers would describe you

Gahhh. I applied early to the School of Business and still waiting on an answer.
I live in NY, so the letter will probably arrive sometime around Monday or Tuesday, no?
P.S. Congratulations Webster and visigirl!!!

I got in! whoo!
except the tuition/board is like 52k…
hopefully I get financial aid or scholarships haha
do you guys know how that stuff works?
thanks!
