JUST SUBMITTED! And with a full half hour to spare, too :)

I’m right there with you chicagograd, just submitted as well! Good luck, all!

^lol I submitted with LITERALLY one minute left. it was 12:58 haha sooo stressful

applying to SFS! good luck everyone, i know i need it. this is so stressful, i think the waiting is gonna be even worse than the constant rewrites…

Georgetown picks uniqueness over proper grammar… that obviously doesn’t mean fuggetabout the grammar of course but UVAorBust one word is not going to get you deferred man… I am confident you wrote a phenomenal essay

Have any of you guys had an interview for Georgetown yet??

Yes, mine was on Monday ^

Yeah, mine was a few weeks ago.

What do you guys think are the SATs needed to get into the college EA?

Rupert, SAT stats for early action are posted on Georgetown’s site… link below
[Georgetown University- Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/applying_firstyear_sdprofile.cfm)

SATs are not the most important factor for admissions. Many students with near perfect SAT scores do not get admitted.

How did your interviews go? What kind of questions did they ask you?

My interviewer was really nice, and she didn’t ask me any questions that threw me. Most of the standard what do you do in your free time, what ec do you like the most, what’s your favorite class this year. I was really nervous, but she made sure to let me know that the interview was only one small part of my whole application. Totally stress-free.

What did you wear? Is there some kind of dress code that we should abide by??

Do you guys think since GTown is about 45% guys and 55% girls now, and less guys apply to georgetown then girls, theres a competitive advantage in being male?

18% of females got in
20% of males got in

I didn’t know that there was that much of a difference in male and female percentages at Georgetown. That’s weird…

And I just wore a nice looking sweater and some dress pants to the interview, but I think it really depends on where your interview is. Mine was at her house. I probably could’ve worn jeans, and she would have been fine with it, but still go a little bit more dressy than usual I say.

Mine interview is set for next Wednesday at Panera. Do you think it’ll be okay to just wear some skinny jeans, a sweater, and respectable heels?

Yeah, that should be okay. And just remember that the interview usually doesn’t make or break you, so don’t stress. Good luck!

i have my interview next saturday at the person’s house. yeah, chinos and a sweater give off a clean image so that’s always a safe bet. the interview shouldn’t be too bad, it usually ends up a really casual conversation about anything.
