<p>Is there anything special about the Georgetown EA? You can't do ED to any other school, and the rate of acceptance is about the same as RD. So ... what gives?</p>
<p>Nothing at all. It is just if you want to get your acceptance early. If you’re not doing ED anywhere, its worth a shot. You cannot get rejected, just deferred.</p>

<p>The one advantage is that you can’t get rejected. Because of this you will have two sets of readers which will slightly increase your chances.</p>
