Georgetown Essay

Hey guys,

So for the Why Georgetown Essay, it says ~1 page, but my essay goes a little over a page (few lines on the second page).
However, my bigger concern is that my essay is about 950 words. I know that’s a lot, but I don’t think my essay is too “lengthy” when read.

Can anyone tell me what their lengths were and/or if my word count seems too excessive?

Thanks!

Just curious, what format is it in? The font size, line spacing, etc.

Do not exceed one page since the instructions are clear about the one page limit.

@Nomak54 It’s single spaced, and I changed the font size from 12 to 10.5 so that it could fit onto one page.

@Publisher If I shrunk the font from 12 to 10.5 in order for my essay to fit one page, do you think that’ll be okay?

Probably not. Even if permitted, it might irritate readers. If you PM it to me, I will offer some suggestions enabling you to comply with Georgetown’s instructions.
