I don’t want to set up an account for Georgetown yet (not sure if I’m applying) but I can’t seem to find the promts for the writing supplements anywhere!! (they don’t use the common app) Does anyone know what they are??
From what I’ve heard, they’re published only on the official Georgetown application–which you have to pay for. So unfortunately to know the prompts you’re going to have to create an account. We’re getting stiffed!
The prompts are the same every year, and can be found on Georgetown’s admission page under the application supplement PDF. Here’s the link: https://georgetown.app.box.com/s/mf16ixp0ww4ndf66uy7ayrboqmo0vmc8
Is it true that the entire app must be one all in one sitting? This is what DS said after trying to start it today in study hall. It looks to me like you just have to do the first step, which is 10-15 min, but that this isn’t the entire app. How does it work? Thanks!
@TS0104 The first step, which is the 10-15 minute one, triggers the process and tells the admissions office to open a file for the applicant and notifies the local alumni board that an interview will be needed down the line. The supplemental, which is much more comprehensive, can be worked on and saved without losing progress.
@masquerade98 thank you, that’s what I thought. I will pass that along!
