Hey guys! Well I didn't do as great as I thought I would do

U.S. History - 740
Literature - 690
Biology - 590

Man, i was seriously hoping to break through the 700s range on Lit, but ohh well.

What do you guys think? I already have to take the SAT Reasoning Test in October because I plan on applying EA, but is it worth it retaking Bio and Lit? I'm probably not gonna retake USH, I'm satisfied with that one. Would Georgetown accept the scores after the EA deadline? Any advice or suggestions?

Hmm…well your literature definitely could be improved but if you like it, I think it’d be ok.
U.S. score is good! leave that one alone.
The biology I’d definitely retake. Did you study for it well enough?

I visited Georgetown and they said that if you don’t have 3 SATs before the EA deadline because you want to take the Reasoning Test, then thats ok as long as you take them as soon as possible after that.

And I would retake Bio definitely.

I would also retake Lit. You only get one shot at applying to colleges. Why not do the best possible?

In all honesty, I literally studied the night before the test. I know it’s not an excuse, but I had so much going on with finals, work, and the AP tests that May was kinda booked. Just didn’t have any time to study.

That being said, I basically just used my class notes from AP Bio for the test. Would you guys recommend any particular book to study with?

I already have the Kaplan book for Lit. Barely touched it in the two weeks that I had it, but I’ve heard it’s good :]

I’m also preparing for Bio and have been using Barron’s and PR. They seem quite thorough. Btw, I’m also planning on applying to Georgetown EA :)
