Georgetown ID?

I was told by other G'town applicants at my school that I needed a "Georgetown ID" on my application in order to submit it and even be considered for admission. Apparently one receives a "Georgetown ID" after submission of the Pt. 1, which I was planning on just sending in with the application (as I have done with all of my other apps). Is this something I should worry about? My sources weren't exactly reliable, and it wouldn't take much for me to believe that what they told me was complete BS.

nope, gtown only prefers it because it helps them sort apps faster. i lost the card that had mine on it after i submitted part i and, of course, couldn't write it on my part ii. and i got in just fine =)

haha, cool, sounds good. One of these people was deferred and has a good shot RD, and the other will more than likely be rejected.

lol I didn't have a gtown ID because I sent my part I and II together.
Do you think they'll think you're not as interested if you didn't send part I in like five months ago?
