Georgetown Interview

Should I be excited or concerned about getting an alumni interview?

It's good because they are showing an interest (even if its just that somebody lives in my area).
But it could be bad that I am somewhat on the fence and this could be a make or break.

Im probably reading too much into this.

I don’t think you should read too much into it. I remember hearing that the interviews have more to do with alumni availability than applicant qualifications. I can’t find a link to back that up though. It might have been from a conversation with someone there.

thank anon. i just got a little antsy when i got the email haha

Found this on their website:

when did they email you about an interview? should i be concerned if i haven’t gotten an email?

I had my interview last week. And no you don’t have to be concerned because it’s technically optional for transfers. Also, they waive it if there are no alumni around your area.
