Georgetown Interview

I have a georgetown interview in a few days
Plz could someone give me an example of a few questions they ask, i really dont wanna screw this up

(1) Why Georgetown?
(2) Tell me a little bit about yourself?
(3) Do you have any questions about Georgetown?
(4) Descibe some of your favorite activities?
(5) What are some of your strengths and weaknesses?
(6) How would you describe yourself?
(7) How would your friends describe you?
(8) What are some of your favorite books, and why?
(9) Is there anything Georgetown should know about you?
(10) What possible majors are you considering, and why?
(11) If you could interview anyone, past or present, who would it be and why?

Just a few questions to get you started in the right direction. Although interviews can go almost anywhere, topic wise, one of the questions above usually starts the conversation. Good luck on your interview. :)

yeah those. I also got asked:
Describe your family.
What are your career goals?
Is Georgetown your first choice?
What otehr schools have you been looking into?

What other schools? Are you ing me? That's gotta be a * to answer.

thanks for the info guys, I'm gonna be applying to G-town too, RD.

If you could be a tree, what kind would you be and why?

What is the most meaningful book that you have ever read, and in what ways has it changed your perspective on life?

Paper of plastic?

"What other schools? Are you ing me? That's gotta be a * to answer."

Why would that be? Schools are VERY well aware of the fact that you have to apply to more than one school. Even if Georgetown is your top choice, it'd be ludicrous for them to believe you're ONLY applying to Georgetown. So answer with confidence, no matter the question.

Best way to prepare for an interview is to RELAX. Good night rest, eat, go to the bathroom, talk to your friends, etc etc. The more your prepare answers, the more forced and memorized they'll sound (believe me, unless you're a professional actor, it's obvious). Take your time in answering the questions. Don't get unnerved if you can't answer a question. My interviewer asked me "who are you?" and I told him I didn't know yet :)

worst case scenario would be getting diarhea during the interview.

Ermm -- if you are meeting at a cafe, stay away from the windows, sit in the middle of the cafe, and get a tall drink so you have plenty to drink. You can read about my almost-being-killed-during-the-middle-of-my-interview experience in the Parents' Forum (It was for Georgetown.. I found myself laughing later.. it was no big deal, my interviewer was kinda shocked though)

I just had one question, and that was "tell me about yourself"... the rest of it was just conversation. Quite good, actually.
