I'm a junior Economics major at Georgetown. I just wanted to offer my assistance if any of you have any questions about classes, professors, dorms, social life, or anything else related to Georgetown. Hopefully, by answering your questions, I can convince some of you to attend this spectacular school. If I don't respond right of way, don't worry, I'll get to you. I have class soon and am just about to go catch some lunch. So ask away!

In response to the first question, I certainly do not feel that there is any social division between SFS kids and the rest of us. I've got a lot of friends in Walsh and they're all very cool, normal people. I don't know anybody who only hangs with people from one school.

As for the Econ department at GTown, I've had a pretty good experience thus far. The classes are challenging, but the professors are cool and they make you actually want to go to class (for the most part). The workload's pretty standard - I'd say about 4 hours a week per class.

hey caleb, thanks for doing this. How safe does is the campus in reality? I've read on hoya.com lately about numerous break-ins, and even a shooting when a student tried to stop a burglar. Can you tell me from your standpoint how safe it really is?

also, on a lighter note, how's the social scene at GU? And what does it consist of? are most parties off-campus or what? if you could just give me a brief run down on what you guys do for fun that would be awesome....

I have a question too - how easy is it to utilize everything that DC has to offer? Like everyone always talks about how G-town being in DC is good for internships, etc, but is it easy to take advantage of all that? And do people go into the city a lot for social/fun events too, or are parties and stuff mostly on campus?
