Hey everyone, so Georgetown is my number 1 school, and I’m applying to the McDonough School of Business (undergrad). Essay 2 of Georgetown’s application is: “The McDonough School of Business is a national and global leader in providing graduates with essential ethical, analytical, financial and global perspectives. Please discuss your motivations for studying business at Georgetown.” I’m a little confused about what direction to go with this essay. Are there any things that you would advise touching on in the essay? Any characteristics about McDonough that would be wise to write about? Need help! Thanks so much
I’m applying there, too, and I guess it would be a good idea to talk about firstly, the location. There are a lot of internship etc available in DC, and MSB frequently has star faculty coming in from nearby offices of top companies. You could also talk about the study abroad programs, they have several of those. They also have many scholars programs which you can express interest in.
Yeah, I wrote mine yesterday, and those are some of the main points I focused on. Glad to know I took it in the “right” direction haha. Good luck!
