Georgetown? Med Programs?

<p>I applied to Georgetown EA and med programs at Penn State, Boston University, Drexel, and will apply to med program at George Washington and VCU. I am also applying to Johns Hopkins and Maryland Honors.</p>

<p>I have a 93.2 average unweighted with all honors and AP courses. One of the classes (Spanish) I am currently taking is after an AP class. I have taken/taking AP Spanish, AP Chemsitry, AP US History, and AP Bio, AP Calc BC. I got 4's in Spanish, Chemistry and History. Currently taking Bio and Calc.</p>

<p>My SAT's is 1410. I have a 690 in Chem and US History. A 760 in Math IIC. I haven't gotten back writing yet but im sure its in high 600's or low 700's.</p>

<p>I have volunteered at hospitals every summer and have had internships over two summers at Walter Reed Hospital doing research.</p>

<p>I feel I am pretty strong but this fall semester I got an 84 in english and I think its gonna hurt my chances. Any opinions on these schools? Thakns</p>

<p>o yea btw, my dad is a physician at the hospital at georgetown and has a professor position at the university so i have a connection</p>

<p>hey! i'm also apply to BU, Georgetown, and GW, and I have very very similar stats to yours. I think that we'll both get into GW and BU. As for Georgetown, it's my reach and its doubtful that I'll get in but with your connection its lookin good for you.</p>

<p>thanks for the reply, yea they are really selective and im pretty sure im getting differed from EA because my writing and math 2c's were not available for them by the time they made their decision. hopefully i'll get in regular admission</p>
