BU

Between your GPA, test scores, and extracurriculars, there are no holes in your application. I don’t think improving your SAT will benefit you that much because you already have a 33 ACT however it can’t hurt to improve your score.
BC- Match
UC’s- match, match, match, safety
USC (can’t tell if this is what you meant by SC) - Match
BU- Safety
Chicago, Princeton, Stanford, UPenn- Reaches, as they are for almost all other applicant (you are at least qualified)
Georgetown- Your internship should help reinforce your application, I would say it is a high match

Please chance me (similar schools)

@cthompson3088‌ USC for me is Southern California, sorry for the confusion. Just chanced you and thanks!

Thanks for chancing me and good luck!

Your extra-curriculars seem pretty impressive (“Teaching at a bilingual school in China” really stood out to me…)

Anyways, BU and UWash are matches. I would have to say that all of your California schools (besides Stanford) are probably matches, maybe high matches. The other ones are pretty much toss-ups. It’s hard to tell with what exactly those schools are looking for sometimes. But you should definitely apply, you are a good candidate for Georgetown, UPenn, Stanford and UChicago.

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1694691-chance-me-architecture-schools.html</a>

A note for Georgetown, they only look at CR and M sections of SAT and don’t super-score. Regardless, you have a very strong application there. I’d say high match.

Schools like UChicago, Princeton, Stanford, and UPenn are a lottery for even the most qualified applicants. That being said, with your extensive ECs, I definitely think you will be competitive in those schools (despite being reaches).
I would say BU could be considered a safety.
Brandeis, GWU, UWash and the UC schools are matches (schools like UCLA, UC Berkeley or Tufts are probably a little more high-matches, but your chances there are still pretty good).

Match schools: BC, BU (possibly a safety), UCLA, UCSD, Tufts, Brandeis
Safety: UCSC- you may want to consider applying to UCSB as another safety!
Reach (these are pretty much reach for anyone!!): uchicago, princeton, stanford, upenn, UCberk (not that far of a reach but it’s still pretty competitive)

I don’t know much about the other schools. good luck!

Pretty good for all, reaches for the usual top schools.

HOWEVER, make sure not to write too much about your trip to china or something else that makes you sound like you are more “privileged” and snooty etc.

Its kinda common in top tier schools, I know that

Thanks all!

bumpity bump bump
