Georgetown MSB vs. Northwestern vs. UChicago

beefs, how much do you get paid for spamming every thread and ruling in favor of UChicago every time?

Just curious.

Agree with post #5. Post #7, however, is slightly incorrect in that the current (not last reported as of 6/30/07= $6.5 billion) endowment at Northwestern University is approx. $7.3 billion, not $5.3. Economics at Chicago & Northwestern may be the best in the country, along with MIT.

Funny you don't ask the same question to Sam Lee, openingdoors. Hmm, I wonder where you go to school.

/sarcasm

@ JDorian

You can't go wrong with Northwestern or UChicago. If you want a more active, traditional campus life, I'll go with Northwestern.

beefs,

at least i provided useful info on course offerings and people can see for themselves, instead of highly biased opinion (best in the world? you got proofs that chicago undergrads have much better economics skill/knowledge than others? you haven't even taken one single econ course at uchicago). i think people don't like the kind of superiority complex you display on this board.

Beefs, why don't I ask the same question to Sam Lee? Gee, compare your first sentence with Sam Lee's first sentence.

Your reasoning skills aren't that sharp, are they? I wonder if that's any indication of a dip in standards on UChicago's part...

And, no, I don't go to either school.

To the OP, I second tenisghs vote. Broadly speaking, NU has the more traditional college feel with excellent academics. Chicago is a great school, too, but it generally appeals to a very specific type of student.

The immature banterings between a few individuals from Northwestern and U of Chicago are unfortunate, counterproductive and just plain immature. Both are great schools and both are very different. Visit each of the two schools and see where you are a better fit. Are you more interested in a more traditional college experience with heavy athletics and frats included or a school which is a little quirkier and somewhat smaller. Attacks on each others schools are useless and don't help students here make a decision.
