Just wondering.. which school will you go?
please state reason.

hahahah nice.. bump

personally I'm going to Stern. I'm not even waiting for the GTown decision in June anymore.

Reason: It's NY, seems like a better social life as well

Gtown is pretty stupid for releasing their decisions after may. When people get their other acceptances they will have alot of time to mule over them and get excited/interested.

By the time Gtown responds top applicants with other acceptances will have forgotten all about the school..

The crazy thing is that the Gtown transfer deadline was earlier than NYU and had less freshman apps than NYU. I wanted to look at the Gtown package, but their reply would have been past the reply date for NYU :( But I'm very happy with NYU

^ I'm feeling same thing too hehe Thanks for your reply ilikeoranges

Anybody else?

I'm in at both and have to make this decision too.

I'm looking to do management consulting upon graduation and this will be the number one factor in my decision.

its a tough decision

I don't really think it is. If you're going solely based on prestige, NYU Stern is the clear winner.

Hmmmm... I cant really agree with you on that. Overall, Georgetown clearly has more prestige but I feel that overall prestige carries on to employers outside of the finance realm (ie management consulting haha).

Well, it depends on what you're comparing: Georgetown vs. NYU or Stern vs. McDonough. I think among business schools Stern has carved a niche for itself as just a notch below Wharton and McDonough can't really make that claim yet. Just opinion though.

who would you say wins btwn Georgetown College and Stern?

uh yeah i dont know what you guys are talking about. stern is a huge favorite over mcdonough in this context.

Stern > MSB

Considering if money is no option...

you live in NY
you have some great professors with a great program
ect

I'd argue that Georgetown is probably > NYU though.

I would agree with everything Cvjn said. That sums my opinion up.

In terms of finance, I completely agree! But comparing for a management major, I feel like its more of a toss-up.
