I am applying to Georgetown, NYU (Sterns), Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, Tufts, Boston College, and Rutgers

Chances?

I'll chance you for the schools I'm more familiar with:

Georgetown - Match
NYU (Sterns) - Match
Dartmouth - Reach
Harvard - High Reach
Yale - High Reach
Tufts - Reach
Boston College - Safety

your my hero.

wow dude ur in anywhere except yale

Georgetown - Accept
NYU (Sterns) - Accept/Waitlist
Dartmouth - Accept/Waitlist
Harvard - Reject
Yale - Reject
Tufts - Accept
Boston College - Accept
Rutgers - Accept

In everyone's opinion, which institution would be the most appopriate to apply early to. As of now, I have selected Georgetown, but if I'm going to get in anyway (and considering they do not let you apply ED anywhere if you apply EA to Georgetown) should I use my "early" on another school. If so, which one?

BTW. My schools, in order of preference are as follows: Yale, Dartmouth, Georgetown, NYU, Harvard, Tufts, Boston College, Rutgers.

Yale is Single Choice Early Action. You're likely to be deferred or flat out rejected.

Dartmouth seems like a very solid choice, and you'll have a good chance there.

Apply early to the school you want to go to most. If you like Yale the best, apply there early. You don't want to apply early elsewhere, get in, and then regret not getting the chance to apply to your first choice.

I am a perpesctive polisci/econ major, planning to go to law school. does that make a difference in my admissions?

on a 4 scale. 3.825 Uw and a 4.129 weighted.

i think my grades are my weakest part...

wow dude i hope that i'll have anything close to your stats by the end of my high school career

do u think u can help me out a little bit?

Wow, your app (almost same SAT scores too o_O), list of schools, major, and future plans (law school) are soooo similar to mine. When do you plan to run for your first office? I recommend age 26 for State Assembly/Legislature, that's when all the big shots get their first high offices.

which school are you applying to at yale btw?

school of arts and sciences. does anyone think i should retake SAT's for dartmouth?

also, still chance me please!

Yale has only one undergraduate school ("Yale College").

thanks!

i think yale is a definite reach, i hope i can get into nyu tufts and gtown. darthmouth would be lovely haa
