im trying to decide between georgetown (COL-FLL) and upenn (the college). financially both are double though penn is offering me a little more. i was born and raised in philly, and i love the city, but i know dc is awesome too and better for interships and jobs especially at georgetown. im into languages, antrhopology, and math. ive pretty much grown up at penn since i was actually born on campus, went to preschool right next to campus, my parents both work there, ive had summer jobs there, and my sister goes there.
anyone have any advice?
thanks in advance.

I am facing the same dilemma as you. Personally, I am leaning towards Georgetown, just because of its international focus and location. At the same time, though, I'm hesitant. I feel that Penn offers a broader education and more flexibility (for instance, Penn offers more languages). Soo... I can't really give you advice ;) Maybe we should just flip a coin to decide.

which one would you regret not going to if you made the wrong decision, do you think?

in other words, if you picked georgetown do you think you would ask yourself while you're at georgetown what it would be like to have gone to penn? and vise versa.

I would probably pick Penn for the fields of study you are considering.

Well, what a cowinkydink! I ended up choosing Penn too. Why? I'm still not completely sure. I just hope I don't regret my decision... haha. Anyway, I guess I might be seeing you in the fall! =)

Penn is in the ghetto.
Gtown is not actually in Gtown, but in a slummy highway stop outside of it. Take that into consideration.

Id go to Penn, especially if you got more aid.

not true about gtown, georgetown is very much in georgetown. walking distance from all of the shops and stuff. one side of it faces a major road, but the rest is tucked into the georgetown neighborhood.
