Georgetown or Vanderbilt?

Ok so I recently got in to both Georgetown and Vanderbilt as a sophomore transfer and I'm having a difficult deciding which school to choose. I'm going for Econ(with a minor in Poli Sci or Gov), and I can't seem to decide. I'm looking to work in investment banking or consulting once I graduate, preferably in either New York or Boston, and I know that both schools will allow me to do that. I'm not really concerned with prestige, I'm just concerned with which schools will be a better fit for an econ major looking to go into IB or consulting. Also, If I went to vanderbilt, I would probably rush a fraternity, but I don't mind that Georgetown doesn't have greek life. For anyone who has made this decision before or anyone who goes to either Vandy or Georgetown, what would you recommend/ what do you love about either Vandy or Georgetown?

If you have a lot of interest in Government, Georgetown would be better. Otherwise, think outside of major/prestige/IB etc and worry about where you might be happier.

If you are only concerned with IB, you should talk to their placement offices to decide which might be better for you.

If i were you, I wouldn’t bother to think. Georgetown for sure, especially you want to do IB.
