Georgetown or Wash U

I'm in to the business schools at both, so i'm wondering which one to attend.

Which would you attend? why?

G’town. Especially, if you’re interested in landing a job in finance in NYC or abroad. Also, in a recession, you have access to internships and job opportunities in DC at the World Bank, IMF, in the Gov’t (Treasury Dept, Commerce Dept., Securities and Exchange Commission), or on Capitol Hill (Senate Finance Committee, House Finance Committee, etc.). Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FDIC are also in DC. All of which are hiring during the recession.

The classroom stuff would be similar at both schools, but the opportunities outside of the classroom are far greater at G’town. I’d only consider WashU if you want to be in the Midwest after graduation.

Moreover, G’town is opening a sweet new business school building in the Fall.
