Georgetown Pre-med

Hi, I'm interested in the Georgetown university and want to know what the pre-med program is like there.

GU is a first rate university which also happens to have a great medical school.
But you are applying to college, so my advice is to focus on which undergrad institution you would most like to attend and less on trying to figure out who has the best “pre-med program.” It is the college search equivalent of debating angelic terpsichore on heads of pins.
There is not really such a thing as a pre-med major; it’s a question of taking all of the required courses to be able to apply to med school. Moreover, many (MANY) students who enter college sure that they want to go to med school change their minds. So don’t make a decision based on the slippery criterion of best “pre-med program.” Whether you attend GU or any of the other top schools you are undoubtedly looking at, you will surely have the opportunity to take the requisite courses from great profs (unfortunately, most schools also have some lousy profs teaching basic science courses; the key is to avoid those profs and wait until the course is being taught by a better one).
Good luck!
