0.47 SFS on its way
Mail just came, 47 cents. Congrats to those who have bigger letters coming
.46! Rip
Oh, no, Ashtash. So sorry
.68 cents coming today in California. Surprised it made it out here so quickly. Does postage differ by area at all?
anyone knows when international students should be getting an email about their decision? good luck to you all!
Does anyone know if .47’s are acceptances? I know they send small envelopes for everyone.
Or could it just be financial info?
Because I have a .47 coming
47 cent postage coming my way in CA today! Can’t believe it already made its way out here. Congrats to all of those accepted!
@meifangie if they say “early next week” i wouldn’t assume they will email us on a monday. i wouldn’t be surprised if they let us know wednesday either
Anxiously awaiting news in SoCal. Why do I feel like a .47 envelope is on its’ way… sigh.
we received the mail for .68 cents in CT, daughter still at school
@calimom333 The .68 is standard first class postage regardless of where it is sent in the Continental U.S. It is good news. And it’s not unusual for mail to make it that far faster than to some areas where it gets trucked in and has to go through another processing and distribution center. Congrats.
.47 in Boston area…
Good luck to all!
Can someone tell me if there is, by any chance, a .47 means acceptance? I know it most likely means bad news, but is there any chance?
@blankclassof22 sorry man I’m a GU Student and unfortunately the stamping is consistent for acceptances, waitlists, and rejections
Whether 1 sheet of paper (decline) or 2-4 sheets of paper (acceptance or waitlist?) in the envelope, they will all likely weigh under the 1 ounce weight limit for .47 postage, so I would not automatically be discouraged. I send letters from work all the time on heavier letterhead and it takes more than 4 pages plus return envelope before we have a rate change. Is the address of the student showing through a window envelope, or printed on a solid envelope?
Printed solid.
Interesting. We have a letter at home in NY, $0.47 postage but it is a window envelope. :-/ Good luck everyone! Keep us all informed when you open!
