Georgetown SAT Subject Tests

Hi everyone,

I’m a junior who will be applying to Georgetown in the fall. I know that Georgetown strongly recommends that applicants submit 3 sat subject test scores. So far, I’ve only taken US History (don’t know score but estimated ~700). I’ll also be taking a math test in August. If I end up with two good scores (ex. US History and Math I), is it worth it to take a third test knowing I will do poorly? What if I can get good scores in Math 1 and Math 2, does that (with US History) suffice as three tests?

Basically, should I submit two good scores (even though 3 are recommended), or two good scores and one bad score?

If I were you, I would take 3 Subject Tests as it is strongly recommended. Do not take both Math exams. Why do you think you will do poorly on a third? My daughter took the Literature test cold and got a 760 so you may want to add that one as it has a lot in common with the SAT EBRW exam. Good luck.
