Georgetown SFS or UPenn?

As an international student I got into both, and will be studying int'l politics at the SFS or Political Science at UPenn. Which one do you think is better? Opinions from current students would be much appreciated.

Answers would be of much help!

I’m biased, but in my view there is no better place in America to study international politics than the SFS. It’s hard to overstate the importance of having an entire school dedicated to IR at the undergraduate level.

Thanks a lot! I am trying to get opinions from both sides so that the biases towards the opposite poles can hopefully cancel each other somehow. The Georgetown side of the story, I have heard more, and I must say it is really compelling! But it is hard to ignore a school like UPenn as well, as you might well imagine. Thank you again!

It really depends, UPenn is gonna be more geared towards national and international political climates or Law School, versus Georgetown where a lot of SFS people end up in NGOs like Teach for America, or in the Peace Corps. If anything, an Ivy League would carry more weight internationally, and I would therefore recommend UPenn. I have also heard that classes at Georgetown are a lot harder, so if youre planning on Grad School, UPenn would give you a higher GPA. Good luck at deciding
