im planning on doing international relations or maybe econ. with an international focus
i got accepted to both but havent got my aid package from georgetown because i just turned fafsa in about a week ago. (how is georgetown's FA anyways? generous? better than UChicago in this regards?)

idk as far as aid goes, but i DO know that chicago has arguably one of the best econ programs in the nation, maybe even the world. gtown has a better international relations program. it all depends on what u wanna do.

International economics is a requirement even if you are not majoring in econ at SFS. What kind of school environment are you into? Washington at your feet, or a academically-pressuring vibe?

Congratulations on your acceptances. My S faced the same choice. He chose G’town SFS so that he could be in Washington. It’s been a great ride so far, tho SFS put him on a rather specific and limited academic track. Still, in Wash, he’s had some great experiences such as attending inauguration and interacting with people high in gov’t.

U Chicago is a great institution but having visited Hyde Park a number of times, I’m pretty sure I would not want to live there for four years.
