Georgetown Site down again

<p>Alright, this is getting absurd. When I went to their site yesterday, it said they were undergoing maintenance. Today(the extended deadline) the servers have apparently crashed. I'm not really complaining, I just don't want to be penalized fopr an inability to turn in an application. Will I?</p>

Missed the First Year Georgetown Application Deadline?</p>

<p>Friday, January 11, 2008 was the extended deadline to submit your Georgetown Application on-line as well as the postmark deadline for paper applications.</p>

<p>While the admissions committees prefer to receive application materials by the deadline, they understand that extenuating circumstances can occasionally occur that prevent students from submitting the application on-time. For this reason, the Georgetown Application will remain on-line until Tuesday, January 22. If you have missed the application deadline to submit all or part of your Georgetown application please note the following for important submission information and instructions:</p>

<li>I submitted my Personal Data Form before the January 11, 2008 application deadline, but still need to complete and submit my Application Part II. Can I still finish my application?</li>

After January 17th, you should click here to send an e-mail to the admissions committee explaining why the Application Part II is late. <p>I’m just trying to figure out whether I can get away with submitting it late due to procrastination…not sure if it’s just for serious issues or if anybody can submit it up until the 17th (after that I assume it’s only serious issues like family emergences or the app not loading)…But since the admissions website isn’t loading right now, I think I’ll use that as an excuse if I have to…</p>
