<p>Well, yeah. (but why "especially" me?) There's stigma toward Jews too, and Asians, and Russians, and gays, and Eskimos, etc etc etc. If you'd like to give affirmative action to all of them, then I think we'd have a level playing field again, don't you?</p>

<p>Socio-economic AA? all for. a poor kid's 1200, regardless of race, should be considered at or on par with a rich kid's 1500.</p>

<p>Instead of meeting a quota of poor students or rich students, "under-represented" minorities or Asians and Caucasians, the admissions committee should focus on the applicant as a whole.</p>

<p>So if a student earned a 1200, though he or she may be poor, he or she may have demonstrated compentency worthy of acceptance in other areas. All aspects of the applicant should be examined.</p>
