I also got an email today saying I got accepted! I’m so happy!! ^_^

@Yuxuan1 and all other acceptances, would you mind posting your application stats?

My circumstances are probably pretty different (not currently attending college and instead working full-time for one, and also having lived in rural Puerto Rico all my life and now living all by myself independently in the US), so I figure my stats are not going to be very helpful: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1329609-chance-me-georgetown-tufts.html

I was also interviewed earlier this month and the interviewer pointed out that I stood out the most from all the other applicants she’d interviewed.

Congratulations everyone!

I haven’t heard back :(

Has anyone in SFS heard anything?!

omg…decisions begin to release…

I can’t believe they are already getting released…this is hard =(

@transfer84 and anyone else who is interested:
I honestly don’t remember my SAT or SAT II breakdowns but they were solid not great (~85th percentile for SAT IIs I remember), I know I did better on my ACTS. My grades were a little complicated but on the lower side of what GT would normally see. I had pretty standard ECs, captain-ships, etc.
College stats: I’m currently at a private university, finished first semester with a 3.8
Also worth noting is that I was waitlisted last year. If anyone cares to know more PM me

@Worriedtransfer2
ur acceptance proves someone’s claim that wait list helps transfer admission.
Congrat!

thanks for posting your stats guys! good luck to everyone! I hope we all get in! I’m soooo nervous!

Would the accepted candidates please specify which of the 4 GT schools that were accepted to.Thanks

since accepted applicants are just few cases, we really don’t need to worry so much. Watershed for acceptance or not is actually if we are able to get decision email in the next two weeks.

@significantlevel Thank you for the optimism and reassurance! one month left! so intense!

just out of curiosity, how much importance do you think the admissions committee places on interviews? what if the report didn’t get submitted by accident – would they see that? I feel like I’m over-thinking all of this

Just curious-were any of those accepted on the wait list previously?

I got my acceptance letter yesterday. I applied to NHS and I was waitlisted last year. my friend who applied to the college and my friend who applied to the business school have not heard back. Good luck to all of you!

also interview does not help all too much. I talked to my interviewer about this, and she said that they just want to know that you aren’t crazy and that you’re who you said you are on the application.

worriedtransfer2 sorry to be annoying but would you mind posting stats? I applied to the college as well so I’m REALLY nervous.

Have any MSB applicants heard back?

It seems that some accepted applicants who either was in waitlist such as sophalof and Worriedtransfer2 in freshman application or has special circumstances like Yuxuan1.
I remember in this thread someone visited Gtown and got message from admissions office such that committees will continue meeting until May 1. So we still have opportunity!

On last year’s thread the acceptances started on the 27th or 29th or something and continued for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully whoever has heard back was wait listed previously/had some extraordinary circumstance (the “must-admit” pile) and the big wave will begin this coming week. One day of acceptance emails is just the beginning. Fingers crossed.
