@thejosher Thanks, my high school grades weren’t too impressive (3.2 gpa/1780 SAT) but my college GPA last semester was a 3.74 and it’s around a 3.9 this semester (not that they’d look at spring semester before they make their decision). I also have a legacy there, but I’m not sure if that would help too much. I really hope I get in though!

I just want to hear back. I thought my application was impressive enough (4.576 wgpa in hs, 4.0 unweighted, 33ACT - taken once - lots of extracurriculars, I was WLed the first time around and now I have a 3.88 at a top 20 university and I thought my recommendation letter and interview were stellar…) This is just depressing

@futurepresident You’ll more-than-likely get in…If you don’t, I don’t think I stand a chance! Haha, what did you apply to?

@Jdoh93 I guess I’m concerned because a lot of those who were wait listed last year have already heard. I applied to SFS for the international political economy major. What about you? I’m also a rising sophomore*

So future, you’re also still waiting to hear from SFS? Let’s hope we both have good news.

I applied as a Government major to the college. I’m also a rising sophomore.

I just got an early read guys…

And???

They told me it looks likely that I’ll be offered a spot on the transfer wait list. Does anyone know any stats on people getting on the wait list? How about waitlist->acceptance? Thanks!

Can someone please post or PM me the number of the dean’s office that was given in your credit evaluation email? Thanks

I’m still waiting for my credit evaluation … it’s taken forever now (considering I was one of the first one to get accepted). Also haven’t gotten my netid … can I pay the deposit online once I get my netid? Or must it be via mail?

Trakke - congrats, that’s awesome! I’m sure that you’ll get in!

trakke you still have a chance! and do you mind if i ask what your stats are? you can pm if you like. also, how did you get an early read?

So, I JUST got an e-mail asking me to schedule an alumni interview. I’ve been pretty diligent with checking my gmail and whatnot so this really caught me off guard.

@billabongboy9828 I got that email too. I am already accepted to MSB and I thought that interviews are before the decisions are made. Are you accepted to georgetown yet?

Hey guys, anyone mind posting the number to call to get early read?/Is it bothersome to the admissions people to call? haha
(Im a new member and just joined/saw this thread now- sorry for being a bit behind haha)

cheers!

No, I haven’t heard back yet but I did just get this email. I haven’t done an interview at this point at all, I’m incoming sophomore, and already had the person handling my app say that all the materials were compete (some transcript got delayed, fixed it through emails with her).

So I just don’t really understand.

Oh and I applied to MBS.

@Billabong9828 I dont know why I am getting this email when I am already accepted to MSB. I also got my credit evaluation. Do you think I should go for Interview anyway as I am already in? Or should call the admission first to find out what is going on? By the way what major did you opt for while applying?

Yeah, I called the number they gave to setup the interview but immediately contacted my rep to check if it wasn’t a mistake or something. I think you should do if, you already got in maybe theyre just tryna evaluate incoming students a little more.

On a side note, does that mean that I was accepted and haven’t been given a decision in email for you?

And I applied for international business.
