Georgetown Transfer Thread

So has no one heard in over a week besides those who got early reads?..

I heard back today guys… GOT IN MSB FOR FINANCE!!!

what time did you receive the email? stats?

very encouraging news! cronaldofn17, would you mind to tell us your stats?

@cronaldofn17 congrats on stern and msb!

and yes it is encouraging that we’re still hearing acceptances. :’)

@transferkid44 ugh i know what you mean…hate waitlists…i’m on nyu’s right now…

@RiedyZac000: I got the email yest at 6:00 pm, which was pretty surprising because I didn’t think they even send emails that late.

My stats are:

College: Rutgers GPA: 4.0

Highschool GPA: 3.7

SAT: 2160

@esthetique: Thanks a lot! Hope you all get in lol

wow… I am from Rutgers too…

my GPA is 3.75, that explains why I am still waiting and you got accpeted… LOL :)))

Cornald, may I ask you did they ask for ur transcript of this spring? Official? Unofficial?

@cronald Congrats! Still waiting here…Got my official full transcript from last year yesterday so I sent that to the admissions office. My Fall GPA was a 3.74 and my Spring GPA was a 3.88. Hopefully it helps! Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

Hey do any other admitted students know when we’re supposed to get the e-mail/letter evaluating our transfer credit?

Has anyone received a rejection letter yet??

I don’t think so…its the quiet before the storm.

very soon probably.

I was told that all remaining admissions decisions (mostly rejections, I presume) will be finalized and mailed by the end of this week.

Has anyone received a waitlist letter?

aren’t the decisions being sent by email?

they were mailed out last year, so we’re assuming it’s the same this year. they really should just email it because it’s faster and cheaper…
i didn’t get anything in the mail today. i’m kinda worried that they might’ve sent it to my school’s mailbox instead of my home’s haha…

but weren’t acceptances given out via email before the physical letters?

I’m assuming acceptance letters are sent via email initially then snail mail, but rejection letters are sent only via snail mail. Just my guess.

‘Your decision has been sent by mail, not email…’ I heard this from admissions this morning, I suppose I am rejected… so sad…
