Waitlisted. I won’t be accepting a spot on the waitlist though - got into and committed with my #1 already.

Hey guys! Does anyone know if there is a Facebook page for Fall 2012 transfers?

I got waitlisted. Heart broken to say the least. I cant move out of town so I dont have much choice but to wait. 4.0 GPA and no school to go to…

@emaytay213, and anyone else who hasn’t joined/wants to join, here’s the Georgetown Transfer 2012 facebook page!

https://www.facebook.com/groups/219866884790456/

^Thanks, I found it!

Just received my transfer credit evaluation. They were great about accepting courses from my community college: I’ve maxed out the 60 credits I’m allowed to transfer. :)

Can’t wait to start! Let’s go August 27th!

I also got my transfer credit evaluation today! I now also have access to my Georgetown email and MyAccess so I completed the housing Living Preference Questionnaire.

Wow, I still have not gotten a letter…starting to wonder if it got lost. Haha.

Does anyone know if they notify waitlistees before July 15th? Or is that really when they send out decisions

Haven’t got my decision letter either. Wonder if it has been sent to my school address, but shouldn’t have been.

No letter yet…

^ Same here.
I’m not going anyway, but this is kind of ridiculous. This, along with the dearth of financial aid, is why they keep losing students to peer institutions.
Has anyone even called to ask about what’s going on?

I got my rejection letter yesterday. I think it took so long because it was sent to my old university, which has a very incompetent mail center.

It’s fine, I was expecting it anyways. I’ll be attending NYU next year instead.

Good luck in NYU! Haha, guess I am staying in NY as well.

Hrm… I wonder if they sent it to my school as well.
I suppose it does not matter, I have already committed myself to Amherst.

Got waitlisted today via email.

I’m a sophomore living in a copley suite with 2 other people and one vacancy that needs to be filled. Transfers normally get the worst housing and copley is one of the best dorms so if any jrs or sophs are interested, message me.

Just got accepted off the waitlist

Has anyone on Georgetown’s extended waitlist that were suppose to hear by June 30 gotten a letter or gotten admitted???

Congrats! What college did you apply to? Thanks
