I feel like i'm going crazy here--it seems every college I've applied to is missing a different peice of my application. georgetown is missing my dean's report. so i need to get a new one out, the only problem is they've taken down the application from their web site, and i only have a copy of the portion i've filled out

so to cut to the chase, did anyone save the pdf file to the dean's report who wouldn't mind sending it to me? thanks, it'd be a major lifesaver!

EFS...when did they (Georgetown) notify you that they were missing part of your app? Did they call you, or send something? I haven't heard anything from them about my app status, but have been paranoid, because well..the dean at my CC isn't the birghtest individual in the world!

nikki--i got an email mid feb saying they recieved my personal data form (i had sent that in back in november) and just today i got an email telling me that they were missing my dean's report

i called them about a week ago to see if they had recieved my high school transcripts (b/c UVA was missing them) and they told me they would only contact me if they were missing something, so you should be fine

Yeah, I got the one back in Feb about the personal data form as well..I tried to call and check my status maybe two weeks ago as well and they told me the same thing. I'm still paranoid though! (checking my email every five minutes...haha ok I'm not that bad..10)

It's very odd what's happening to me for my Georgetown transfer

I am currently at a state school in New Jersey with a 3.3 GPA, internship at a financial firm, and have 4 leadership positions.

I know another student on my campus who is applying as a sophomore transfer to Georgetown with around a 4.0 GPA. He's received notification from the college for an interview. I on the other hand did not, and I called the undergraduate admissions office and they said that they didn't have an interviewer available in my area.

Should I be concerned about this? I know that my GPA sets me back to begin with, but I almost feel now as if they will barely look at my application.

If you are at the same school, shouldn't his interviewer be your interviewer as well? Odd, really... hmmmm, dunno what to say! Do you know any Gtown alums?

lionsgate, I also got a notification for an interview but it wasn't from the college, it was directly from my interviewer.
I thought the college request a member of alumni commitee to contact the students for interviews.
Maybe your interviewer doesn't have any time right now and will contact you later.

Did you guys get the notification for an interview via a USPS package or what? Coz 2 of my packages went missing from my apartment office and I yet have to hear from the USPS.
I don't know of any interview thing as of yet, and I'm getting a bit paranoid too, which is unusual as otherwise I'm too chilled out for my own good.

My interview notification came via regular mail in a standard mailiing envelope.

I believe that Georgetown sends everything to the interviewers in the area, and then the alumni mail it out from wherever they are. Mine came postmarked from Baltimore, but in a Georgetown envelope.

The deadline to have an interview is April 15. that's when all the information from the interviews has to be given to G-town or something like that.

I had my interview today..it was only 20 minutes long and it felt like it took 5 minutes. The interviewer was really nice, but i'm afraid I messed up because people on this board said their interviews were around an hour... And for the notification I got it through normal mail...nothing through e-mail.

why oh why oh why..on the 26th of april are they just NOW sending me the "we're missing your hs transcripts and SAT scores" email. Ok, I graduated in 2000. I spoke to people in admissions, not once, not twice but THREE times asking if I needed to send HS transcripts and SAT scores, and each time, they said no. So why is the story different now? I'm so frustrated. I was a TERRIBLE high school student..a lowly 2.0 with a SAT score of 1100..THERE I said it..now I have a 3.67..am in honors societies and on the dean's list..amazing work expereinces that turned my life around and all that..but I feel all my hopes have been squashed.. I'm sad. :(
