Hey guys,

I have a quick question. On the transfer application it says all students are required to submit catalog pages describing course work and academic regulations. What does that mean?

Thanks!

It means you have to send them pages from a catalog (i.e. JcPenney, Vicotria’s Secret, Sears, Macy’s) that describe your courseload. For instance, you can make a collage of women in lingerie from a sears catalog to describe a course about women in history.

I just copy/pasted the courses, their descriptions, and academic policies from the registrar’s site and sent it to Gtown.

what exactly are the academic regulations?

bumping this

Academic policies & regulations. There will be a section on it in your current college’s course catalog.

if it is what i am thinking then it shouldnt even matter because i am not at the risk of failing out at my current school, etc.

They need the part in the bulletin that tells how the grades are assigned: is an A only a 4.0? What is the numerical equivalent of a B plus? What constitutes B minus numerically? It’s that kind of thing so that they can know at your institution, what do those A’s on your transcript really mean numerically. You also should include text about what W’s or withdrawals at your university constitute, all that type of stuff.
