Are sports recruits also required to take subject tests to apply to Georgetown?
How fast do you need to be to be a male swim recruit for Georgetown? Thanks.

These are questions for the Georgetown men’s swimming coach. As for times, you could get general ranges by looking at the results page on the Georgetown men’s swimming website.
Go to collegeswimming.com and look at the times and power index for their 2019 recruits. You’ll want to have times that are in the top 2-3 for your best events to be a competitive recruit.
Note - Georgetown swimming has a low budget for D1 teams. There is no athletic money for swimmers.
The question regarding necessity of taking SAT II tests was asked at a Georgetown junior day for swim recruits. About half of the swimmers on the team had taken three. Some had taken fewer. A few swimmers had taken none. It did not seem like an absolute necessity, but, of course, best to ask the coach directly. As @jmtabb recommends, we found collegeswimming.com was the best source for figuring out whether your times make you a competitive recruit. Personality and fit with the team also seem very important at Gtown (maybe that’s true everywhere).
Thank you! Great advice.
