What are the chances of going to Stanford for grad school if you graduate in maybe the top 6 or 7% of your Georgetown class and have many many EC's?

Decent? Some nice things to show for the field of study and it’s a match.

By the time you go to grad school, it’s no long about ‘ECs.’ It about what you have achieved in the area that you plan to do graduate work in. So, top grades, research in the field (if you are a PhD candidate), and strong rec letters from your faculty are key. If it’s a professional school, its about your test scores, grades, work experience and letters of rec. An EC is nice because it shows you are a potentially interesting person outside of work, but no one gets admitted or rejected because of their ECs.
