I’m back again guys hey. Also the Syracuse game today was INTENSE but saw a lot of Hoya Pride out there in the stadium today and it was awesome! If any of you deferrees are still considering GU then Winter break is the perfect time to be writing letters of continued interest. What Gtown really likes to see is specific classes, clubs, programs, and opportunities that interest you and/or relate to what you’re already doing in high school so they have at least some certainty that you’ll be active here on campus. I’d be happy help talk about all that stuff if you wanna pm me! This time last year was super stressful for me and I know what you’re going through guys. It really sucks but I promise you that if you work through it and show initiative now of all times that you will greatly increase your chances of getting in RD. Good luck with all your other decisions and remember that an acceptance or deferral here doesn’t mean anything else in regards to other schools. Have a nice holiday break and Hoya Saxa!

@iwanttogetintocollege, keep the faith for RD at GU. As for others on your list, all great schools. While GU is still possible for us deferrals, not getting in today does not prevent admission to as high or higher ranked schools. My S has applied to and will still be looking at Northwestern, Emory, and others in the top tier. Todays EA chances were 11 or 12%. I firmly believe GU is still in play and has no bearing on getting in many top contenders. UVA is a great school by the way. GW has strong programs but no campus was no starter for us, even with Mt. Vernon. Good luck and keep your head high.

@Nomorelurker Thanks for your advice! Yeah, UVA is an amazing school, and I basically like everything about it EXCEPT for its location. Then again, perhaps I could grow to like it as I know some people have. I will continue trying to keep my head high!
