@rubix I’ve been accepted to UVM and the American University of Paris. I applied to Reed, Tulane, and the University of Portland EA. I’m planning on applying (now that I’ve been deferred from Gtown) to Barnard, Duke, NYU, Pomona, and Brown RD. How about you?

Deferred. 35 ACT, 4.0 UW. AP Scholar w Distinction. Founded own photography business, class president, Model UN Head Delegate, Founder and President of a volunteer organization. 450+ volunteer hours. High-600s low-700s SAT II scores (this was a weak point of mine). I thought my essays were pretty good, but obviously that’s very subjective. Now I can just hope for the best during RD! @cornfield Yeah it sounds like you were a really strong applicant! I honestly wouldn’t worry too much, there are a lot of factors besides test scores and ECs that go into Georgetown’s EA decisions. Think relatives of faculty, donors, etc.

@silverlemon I’ve been accepted to BC, Alabama and South Carolina. Applied to Chapel Hill (EA) and Florida. Will apply RD to Vanderbilt, GWU and Duke.
@silverlemon thank you! Obviously i was hoping for the acceptance, but I expected the deferral. College admissions can be so unpredictable it seems like. Not the end of the world! I saw that you were deferred as well- best of luck to you! Perhaps we will see each other on the Hilltop next year!
