General comments

FYI I know for a fact that decisions haven’t gone out yet so ^ this person is trolling everyone. Ignore!!

@dehcollege2017 It takes 2 days for First Class mail to get to locations close to DC and 3 days to get to the rest of the country. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they went out yesterday, but they have to go out today. I realize our accepted friend is a hack, but how do you know they haven’t been mailed?

@dehcollege2017 I never said they have come out? I literally just made a thread for when they do. Chill out

@apdns19 I never said I got in. Stop making stuff up

@justliviglife there was a post that was deleted where a “new member “ said he got in with an 1180 and 3.1. That is what they were responding to.

@chb088 Makes sense. Thanks

@dehcollege2017 @apdns19 Sorry, I thought y’all were talking to me. Didn’t see the previously deleted post.

does anyone know how the results will be communicated? is it by snail mail? because that would make sense as to why i haven’t heard anything yet. best of luck guys!

@crazycoffee they mailed out letters on Wednesday, but many people still haven’t received theirs. If you’re anywhere on the west coast, you probably won’t receive anything until Monday. After Monday you can call the admissions office, and they will notify you of their decision over the phone. Good luck!!

@oliviazoe To clarify, do you mean that we can contact the admissions office ON Monday to be notified of our decision? If so, do you know what the earliest time that we can call is? Much appreciated.

Ok, so what I’m hearing is that a bunch of people (myself included, but I do live in Hawaii) as of Saturday 16th Dec., have NOT received a letter. Therefore, I am NOT going insane?

Also, just came to mind, the holiday postal traffic increase might be slowing the mail down significantly.

@jsteiner018 Yep, I’d say most people haven’t received them. I know on here at least most people haven’t received them, but people on here are from a ton of places, so I’m guessing their current status represents their areas.

If you go on my threads, you’ll find the discussion thread which has a lot more info(:

Looking forward to everyone else that will be attending GU!

SAT of 1510 and ACT of 35…“not great” “decent” Anyone who tells you your score was sub-amazing is either lying or has crazy expectations. Good job.

@hectorh19 did you apply ED at Cornell to already know your decision? I thought Georgetown’s policy was you could not apply ED to any other university if applying EA to Georgetown.
