Georgetown University Early Action 2014

Haha, if onlyyyy!!!

This thread has been distracting me for the past three weeks!

I think I may claim a grieved status to my teachers and demand they give me an extension on everything until Wednesday because there’s no way I’m going to focus tomorrow when the letter comes or Tuesday, depending on the results… Urgh!

Ha ha it’s like the PBC is like "here you go! Here’s a letter! Oh, and we would like a 200 grand check delivery fee, please  " But they better not interrupt my Soap Operas… (and that’s only half of a joke ha ha. I really do watch Soap Operas. lol)

ZOMG i better get in because i’m not really a fan of this homework thing during senior year. what an idiot i was to take a full AP schedule. . . my friends were like “but aren’t you supposed to chill out and take it easy your senior year?” and i was like “yes if you’re not a masochist like me, then yes”.

Sprevite, im in the EXACT same boat. EXACT same situation. In fact that exact thought ran through my head a few weeks ago.

Speaking of money, I would just like to put forth the idea of a bake sale to raise money for tuition for those who get in. I’m PRETTY sure if we pull our efforts, we could do it…You all seem like resourceful people.

But I’m slightly freaking out about the price tag, but I figure I’ll worry about that if I get in. Which is a big if ha ha.

haha lmao. i can’t deal with this. I’M GOING to seriously study for my chinese final, because of course, my schools curriculum was inadequate. ready to kill myself? yes, absolutely. i’ll just let my professor know that i couldn’t study, i needed to monitor CC all night. he’ll understand.

Sprevite: No you’re not. Hahahaahha. I can’t sit still right now.

A bake sale! YES!!

Monday on the East Coast…I hope it comes today…

I have been stalking this thread for the last three hours…It makes me happy that every time I click refresh there is a new post :D

Getting into Georgetown will be one of the best days of my life…(maybe) realizing that I can’t afford it will be one of the worst…As for the bake sale, I make a mean cake

eagle2010: i can multitask. lmao, and by multitask, i mean check CC, facebook, phone, aim, and study. haha what a joke i’m so ADD at times. and GO BAKESALES!

I made a cheesecake today. We can sell that!

Ok if admitted we’re going to create the national georgetown bakesale to raise money for our tuition. The NGB will be a transfat-free endeavour comprised of organic baked goods and sinfully delicious treats that everyone will want to buy.

I’ll bake Hoya Bars. Theyre granola bars drizzled with carmel and white chocolate and topped over with crushed almonds. And of course they’ll be in the shape of a ‘G’.

We’ll definitely sell them in Red Square

Anyone here EAing Notre Dame at the same time? Out of my early schools, this Gtown forum is most active! haha I wish the Notre Dame people would be as excited on CC XD

Those sound really really delicious.

@Eagle-that sounds delicious, and I definitely think you should bake and send me one :)

Yes I applied EA to Notre Dame too. That board is deadville compared to us future hoyas of 2014!

No other EA… still half-ass working on other applications.

Munlover - If I only knew how to bake granola bars. Hell Idk whats even in granola bars. Could be ground up bones of rejected gtown applicants for all i know.

I did EA to Tulane (accepted), Fordham, BC, UNC, and of course…Georgetown
