Georgetown University Early Action 2014

I only applied early to GU, Boston college, and Umich. I was happy that I got into mich but if GU goes through I would literally cry lol.

I applied EA to Georgetown, Notre Dame, Boston College, Fordham, USD, and U Denver.

Wow, eagle2010. I guess you really don’t want to go to a Catholic college, eh? Haha

I did something similar actually…
EA @ Georgetown, UChicago, Boston College, and SMU
RD (pending EA deferrals) Tufts, Penn (for kicks and giggles), Richmond, and Brandeis

reporting for ny!

and wow to that story–can’t believe they were still missing something! i’m sure it’s nbd, though!

i applied all over: penn, brown, nu, usc, uva, harvard, dartmouth, bu, tulane, tufts, cornell, emory, and wustl

any idea when NY will get letters? maybe saturday?! or will i have to deal with the agonizingly long wait until monday? haha

good luck everyone!! :)

Thickfreakness:
rcquinn and i live in richmond, va; i would guess we’ll receive our letters around the same time as the d.c. area!

i’ve heard they are mailing the letters on friday, so i’m hoping states close to d.c. should get letters on saturday! ah!

Yeah, I would expect yours by Saturday definitely.

I’m in Ohio, so Saturday’s probably a stretch… but, hey, a kid can dream, right?

texas…lol i’ll probably get mine like next month. hahaha

^ True dat. At least I’m in a major city in Texas… if I was in, like, West Texas it’d take forever!

im a MSB applicant from south carolina…i can report if you guys want…im thinkin probably monday

Hah yeah neogop only a few Catholic schools !

If I don’t get a letter next Tuesday I think I’m gonna die.

do you know when international students will hear their results?

galfromVN, the admission decisions will be e-mailed to the international students by Dec 15. It means that the answers might be delivered as soon as on ongoing days.

i just got an email from my district reader that boarding school students will receive two letters- one at home and one at boarding school! sweet.
just incase there are more boarding school applicants out there.

Good luck to all – remember, there are no rejections this round, just acceptances and deferrals.

Wherever you applied, what may seem like a terrible result in the next week or so may turn out to be the best thing that’s ever happened to you.

extremely nervous about decisions that come out next week!

do you think kids that didn’t apply for financial aid have an advantage?!?!? because then I would be outta luckk :/

I wouldn’t think so, it says in bold in the application that Georgetown is need blind.

literak -

You say that internationals get emails on the 15th, will everyone then get an email by the 15th?

Is it for sure that letters are sent out on friday? So hopefully tuesday will be the day I find out!

anyone else thinking they’re just gonna get deffered? :(

^^yeah^^
but still hopeful at the same time which is making me anxious!
