Georgetown University Early Action 2014

i think they said like 20 percent of people deferred get in

@ galfromVN and sprevite:
I think I remember from my info session that Gtown typically admits 10-15% of deferred EA applicants for regular admission.

thanks lovethema10! freaking out?? yess that’s me.

Yeah, galfromvancouver, they said 15%…

me too! haha. sorry, sort of unnecessary post, but whatever.

haha. so they’re definitely mailed tomorrow? RI, so, monday? who knows?

if they’re mailed tomorrow, then they probably won’t get to kansas until the 15th. awesome.

when did you guys have your interviews?

I turned in everything by the deadline, but because of my interviewing being out of town/me being out of town I didn’t have it until last week.

I really really hope that means I’m still up for EA, I don’t think I have much of a chance, but I really really hope a miracle happens!

im in nyc, do you think i’ll get it by saturday?

@ collegelookin: yes, I think you would. Since so much mail is trafficked through new york each day, I can imagine that there are a number of shipments of mail sent there each day from most major cities.

i’m super nervous. with people from my school now hearing back from ed, everything seems so real. as d day approaches, good luck to all!

Letters are mailed today! Yikes!

dpc, i submitted the first portion of the application at the end of july, so i had mine the first week of october. and according to the hearsay on this thread from various sources, they didn’t close deliberation until last friday. you’re probably fine. :]

SO NERVOUS!!
and i had my interview on october 12th haha.

is there anyone on here from dc or maryland who got the mail today and can confirm that we won’t be hearing today?

^ They were sent out today! ahhhhh!

Also, I live in Northern Virginia and can confirm that we won’t be hearing today.

im so excited! ah sorry this is such a pointless question but does anyone know the time they were sent, i think that would effect whether i recieve it tomorrow or monday. im from CT

has any international student received his/her decision yet? Is it supposed to be through email?

sfloodm
