Georgetown University International Relations Summer Program?

Does anyone have experience and/or knowledge about Georgetown University's summer programs for high schoolers, particularly their international relations summer program? I'm interested in doing it for next year, but I'm worried that it's just a waste of money and it won't actually be a worthwhile learning experience. Prestige isn't necessary, although it's always a plus, but I know payed summer programs such as this one usually aren't that prestigious. My other option is to try to get an internship somewhere, probably at my mom's work, which sort of but not really relates to international relations (she works with a military medicine foundation). Which do you think would be more worthwhile, or do you know of any other options?

Well if you’re not going for the prestige, than this probably is a good thing to take. Usually they’re college courses taught by college profs with other students, who, for the most part want to learn too.

College dorm life and its freedoms/duties also make it memorable. Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service (SFS) or anything international something is reckoned as one of the best schools around. Undoubtly these guys are throwing a quality program at you.
