Hi everyone!
i wanted to ask you guys if 1950 SAT score is sufficient for getting into Georgetown University. (CR-590 Math-700 Writing 670)
My GPA is approx. 3.8
SAT II
German-670
Biology-700
Math lvl 2-720
I have done lot of volunteer works and activities in my school.
Do you think these scores will allow me to be one of the competitive candidates for Georgetown University?
If not, at least do i even have a chance?
Additionally, how about if I apply NYU?

You need to raise your CR to 700 or above for Georgetown. Check the range for admitted students on the admissions website. At the lower end are some of the recruited athletes.

do u think it’s impossible? Cuz this was the last SAT test i took…
and also for my subject Tests:
German-670
Biology-700
Math lvl 2-720
would these be any help?

You will proly not get in round 1. I would focus on raising your grades and your CR. I’m a horrible test taker so the SATs are my weak spot, but unfortunately GU is really big on scores. Your subject test scores are good tho!
Are you a legacy? Because that is going to make or break who gets in over one another. GU is HUGE on legacies.

You might have a shot in April tho! Early Action is just harder to get into and they take the people with the best of everything.

GU doesn’t even look at Writing, so based on your M + CR composite score, you have a pretty low chance at GU.

For NYU Arts & Sciences your SAT scores are on the lower end. Though you can supplement that with your stronger Subject Test scores.

Your scores are too low for both, especially for Georgetown.
