<p>alpharosean: I live in the D.C. metropolitan area known as NOVA (Northern Virgina). If you choose to go to Georgetown, you will see a lot of people from NOVA. I heard a lot of people from D.C. also shop in NOVA. There is Tysons Corner Center Mall in McLean, VA, which is the second largest mall in the nation. I am sure you will love it. It's conveniently located as well.</p>
<p>Some of my friends are crazy about the Georgetown area, and it is so packed on holidays especially on New Year's Eve. There are so many good restaurants and countless places to shop. Plus, Georgetown is probably the nicest neighborhood in D.C. with security and safety.</p>
<p>Georgetown was the only school I visited when I was in high school because I fell in love with it even before I went there. I was astounded by its beauty and lively atmosphere during the info session. Well, nobody got into SFS from my high school two years ago. A lot of people went to ivy league schools and the small three after getting rejected. But, here I am waiting to be a SFS'er!</p>
<p>Haha, yeah Tysons also has The Galleria also known as Tysons II. You can pretty much buy everything from major luxury brands... Yes, I have been admitted to SFS. And, I know SFS is still reviewing candidates. Let me know how it goes!</p>

<p>it's possible that things have changed since previous years. the school now sponsors a week in july for those searching for off-campus housing. you can apply for on campus housing, but junior transfers only get housing on a space-available basis! it's no longer a requirement. are the apartments not as good? do you know if we have any choice about housing at all? thanks!</p>
<p>Okay I have read all 31 pages of this discussion, but I'm still oblivious to what's going on. So the last batch of acceptance letters were send out on the 15th? It's weird cause I thought acceptance letters were sent out on the 1st of June, and to hear that a lot of people got in already caught me by surprise. I just want to know if the 15th was the last batch or if they still have another batch of acceptance letters that are still in the process. I applied to NHS. Anyone else waiting from them?</p>
