for oversee students, check your email
Guys what do you think about the fact that I didn’t send a 3rd subject test score? I didnt take one, what’s the detriment of that exactly? Ive asked this like 50 times before and no one ever gave me a consistent answer
@topimpabutterfly I don’t think it’ll play a huge part on your decision. Many people got in without taking any, so I don’t see why it would hurt you.
FYI, if you want to see when you should get the letter you can use the “Postage Calculator” on USPS.gov. Just enter next Thursday as the ‘sent’ date, Georgetown’s ZIP code and yours.
Just realized that I put the wrong phone number on my Georgetown application. What should I do cause I live in California and probably won’t get the letter for a couple of days?
Do you think peoPle in California will get it tomorrow?
Are the calls going to be in alphabetical order?
@topimpabutterfly – I would assume there is a correlation between rigor of schedule and # of SAT IIs. My son only submitted 2 subject tests, but his coursework is very rigorous and the 3rd subject test did not matter.

How would you view/rank your essays and reccomendations?
I’m an applicant from the NYC area and I was wondering if anyone could dispel a theory my friend had. He got his waitlist letter on Saturday, despite his declaration that a lot of the mail is really late. My friend (who is very very qualified for GT, moreso than myself) and I have received no word. He reasoned that since the waitlist notification is just a letter, it moves faster than a larger acceptance notification. If someone could prove that idea flawed before I rationalize it, I’d be grateful.
No, unfortunately seems like the acceptances are also in small letters…they might weigh slightly more but some of them were low postage. It seems like the mail is arriving quite randomly. I wish you were right though because we are also still waiting! Preparing for bad news based on what we are seeing…Good luck!
@topimpabutterfly Here’s an answer: I sent in two to the SFS and they accepted me without a third. So don’t worry.
Still haven’t gotten anything…

Unfortunately, the postage calculator is useless. According to them, letter should’ve arrived Saturday.
Has anyone with legacy been accepted?
When you receive the physical letter, is there any hint as to whether you’ve been accepted or rejected? I know the letters are roughly the same size, but is there anything that tips you off either way?
