I was accepted at Georgetown, but waitlisted at GW and American…is that normal??? 
deferred and then waitlisted to MSB. so angry and its honestly so rude of them to keep me hanging like this.
Hi, just have some quick questions for everyone accepted. Just had a friend get accepted and she got a second, larger letter in the mail. After reading some of these, though, it seems not everyone did. My question is do all accepted students get this larger letter? Or at least the 0.69 cent smaller letter, presumably a little thicker, with a yellow colored sheet inside? Or both? Thanks, I’m pretty scared, and congrats to all who got in.

Wait so for those people that got a phone call did you get it on your home phone or cell phone LOL…I’m sort of dying to know because I’m not home right now so I haven’t seen a letter yet and I haven’t gotten anything on cell phone

@JTishere I got a $.48 envelope and a larger packet @PrincessFaerie I didn’t get a phone call at all, don’t stress. And even if you don’t get in, there are amazing schools out there- it’s not worth the turmoil
When are admitted students visit days?
@princessfaerie I am in a similar situation- I’m out of town for a week and was freaking out hoping for a phone call to come. However, I looked at my georgetown application and saw the only number I listed was my home one (i believe that is the number they ask for). Therefore, I will just have to wait! Congrats to all accepted so far.

I was away for a weekend to find out I was accepted today!
It was weird though, because it only had an “acceptance pamphlet” with no acceptance letter. Is this normal? Or should I expect “standard” admission package in the mail in the coming days?
@pianogeek turn down their wait list offer then. Just tell them you’re withdrawing your application- I think that would be best for you, based on what you’ve said, and give you more control over the situation

spoke with IT and the temp password on the letter was incorrect. Called and was told the correct one

Does ANYONE know how to find FA info? I’ve tried to use the netID and temporary netID password sent to me via email with no luck. Why do they make this stuff so complicated?!
