Btw guys, which email address does you contact with for an early read? Is it transferadmissions@georgetown.edu? I am really exhausted by such waiting. If GU gives me a clear rej, I can settle all my plans down.
I contacted that email with an alternate offer asking for an early read but haven’t heard back

I wish they had a more consistent historical release timeline… do you guys think there will be waves this week? I’m trying to stay positive but every day I get less enthusiastic lol
No clue but I am checking this website like every hour, refreshing my email, and refreshing the portal… either way we will hear this week… wouldnt even ask for an early read at this point bc you will hear back this week and dont want to annoy them rn…

Yeah… I’m also doing this. Living on the other side of Pacific Ocean (East Asia), I check what you have just discussed in your afternoon when I get up in my morning everyday. Sometimes in midnight, I open my phone and check my email and this thread every time I wake up. I only hope that GU won’t leave my decision to last second on June 1st, after even one more weekend. But well, in either way, the battle is gonna end soon!

Do we get the email at the same time the portal is updated? I keep checking the portal and my email but I’m not sure if I need to.
Also in the email, does it say to check the portal or does it tell us if we’ve gotten in or not
not sure about GU, but last year BU sent out the portal-update email 5 hours after I have already got the decision on the portal myself. NYU transfer this year is the same, with an 8 hours gap. I guess there is generally a time lag between portal update and email, but not 100% sure
