<p>Depends on your interests and your needs. Both academically excellent with different cultures, and different strengths.</p>
<p>In academics, Rice has the edge. In prestige, Georgetown has the edge. I would go for the academics.</p>
<p>For science and engineering,go to Rice. For social science and humanities, go to Georgetown.</p>
<p>Although I agree social sciences/humanities are slightly stronger at Georgetown, they are still strong at Rice as well. Unless you are going to Georgetown’s School of Foreign Services or for political science, Georgetown is overrated in my opinion.</p>
<p>Without a doubt, Rice is stronger than Georgetown in science/engineering. Georgetown doesn’t even have an engineering program, last time I checked.</p>
