To put it simply, I'm torn between these two amazing colleges. I want to study government/political science, so I'm naturally inclined to go to Georgetown, but Cornell is very tantalizing. Any thoughts/comments/suggestions?

If you were pursuing a career in science, I'd recommend Cornell. However, if you're pursuing political science/government, Georgetown's definitely the better choice. Georgetown's well-respected for government/political science across the world, and has the best location to study such a subject.
